Port Isaac is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes drive from Exeter. It is one of Cornwall's most beautiful fishing villages. There are a number of excellent restaurants and coffee shops in the village and a deli and co-op within a short distance from the house. There are also a number of pubs and a children's playground.
In the summer a brass band plays in the harbour on Thursday nights and the 'Fishermens Friends' sing sea shanties on Friday nights.
